We are delighted to welcome Toby Coates to the ISRM UK Hub | Birmingham & the Midlands as our Birmingham Lead. Toby will support the continued growth of the UK Hub by helping to develop and deliver impactful events, strengthen regional engagement and lead special initiatives across Birmingham and the Midlands.
Toby is a multidisciplinary risk adviser who supports organisations in creating protected value and reducing harm. Passionate about helping organisations achieve their objectives, he focuses on answering three fundamental questions: What are the problems? What are the solutions? How do we implement them?
A graduate of Buckinghamshire New University’s Centre for Intelligence, Security and Resilience, Toby has experience across the public, private and non-profit sectors. He has supported organisations in developing risk management frameworks, conducting strategic risk assessments, drafting strategies, policies and standards, and providing assurance through auditing and continuous improvement.
