Strategic Risk Case

Competition 2026

The Strategic Risk Case Competition offers a practical, high-impact risk consulting experience, your chance to compete against university students from across the Asia–Pacific region and gain feedback from expert judges, including Fellows of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM).

Working in teams, you’ll tackle a real-world business risk scenario modelled on challenges faced by today’s organisations. Within a limited timeframe, you’ll assess key risks, design practical mitigation strategies, and deliver actionable recommendations, mirroring the dynamic environment of professional risk consulting.

The competition culminates in a boardroom-style presentation to a panel of leading risk professionals, followed by an interactive Q&A session that offers exclusive insights into strategic risk thinking, resilience, and leadership under pressure.

This is your opportunity to build hands-on consulting experience, showcase your strategic and analytical skills, and connect directly with risk leaders shaping the future of the profession.

To apply for the Strategic Risk Case Competition, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Student Status:
All participants must be currently enrolled students at a recognised Asia–Pacific (APAC) university.
