The Institute of Strategic Risk Management congratulates Garry Bergin F.ISRM, Chair of the ISRM Ireland Chapter and member of the ISRM Fellowship Validation Board, who was named Outstanding Security Consultant at the 2026 Irish Outstanding Security Performance Awards.
With over 27 years advising critical national infrastructure, multinationals and government bodies, Garry serves as Commercial Manager and Security Consultant at Manguard Plus, where his work embeds intelligence-led, risk-based security at the board level as a strategic enabler of resilience.
The 2026 award adds to a body of recognition that includes the Irish OSPAs Lifetime Achievement Award, the George van Schalkwyk Award and the Security Institute UK’s International Achiever of the Year. He is also listed as a thought leader by both the International Security Journal and the Life Safety Alliance for four consecutive years.
