We would like to thank Milena for her contribution as Chair of the London Chapter. She helped build a strong community around the Chapter, bringing members and professionals together through breakfast briefings and networking events that created valuable opportunities to connect, share ideas and build relationships. Most recently, she hosted an October networking event, which included a guided tour of St Paul’s Cathedral.
Thank you, Milena, for your leadership and commitment. We wish you all the best for what comes next.
We are pleased to introduce the Chapter’s new leadership team: Abigail as Chair and Richard as Vice Chair.
Abigail – London Chapter Chair
Abigail is an experienced risk and resilience practitioner with nearly a decade of experience spanning financial services, professional services, telecommunications and the creative industries.
Throughout her career, she has worked with globally recognised organisations, nationally critical infrastructure providers and regulated businesses, helping to strengthen organisational resilience through business continuity, risk management and recovery planning. Her experience includes leading complex resilience programmes, developing frameworks and governance arrangements, and engaging stakeholders across business functions to translate resilience strategy into practical outcomes.
As Chair of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) London Chapter, Abigail is passionate about bringing people together, strengthening professional communities and raising the profile of strategic risk and resilience. She is particularly interested in the relationship between resilient leadership, organisational culture and the ability of businesses to navigate an increasingly complex, interconnected and multi-hazard environment.
A strong advocate of knowledge-sharing, collaboration and continuous professional development, Abigail believes that resilient organisations are built by resilient people.
Richard – UK Hub President
Richard brings more than 18 years of experience in Physical Security, Crisis Management and Asset Protection. He is currently Associate Director for Security in EMEA at Collins Aerospace, within the Defence and Aerospace sector. He holds all three ASIS certifications (CPP, PSP and PCI), is a Trustee of the ASIS Foundation, a Freeman of the City of London, and a Fellow of the ISRM.
In this new role, Richard will support the development and coordination of ISRM’s UK Chapters in London, the Midlands and Scotland.
We look forward to working with Abigail and Richard, and to seeing many of you at upcoming Chapter events.
