ISRM Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chapter to Host First Practitioner Circle Talk on the Future of GRC

Most GRC frameworks were built for a world that felt more stable, predictable and easier to define. That world no longer exists in the same way.

Today, leaders are working in an environment shaped by interconnected risks, growing ecosystem dependencies, accelerating technology, geopolitical uncertainty and the rapid development of AI systems that can now produce insights once requiring entire specialist teams.

In this context, the question is no longer whether risk is changing. It clearly is. The real question is whether the profession is evolving quickly enough to keep pace.

Against this backdrop, the ISRM Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chapter is hosting its first Practitioner Circle Talk:

From Reactive to Adaptive: What Will Define the Next Generation of GRC Leaders?

The session will bring together experienced practitioners from governance, risk and audit to explore how the discipline is evolving in practice, which capabilities are becoming essential for the next generation of GRC leaders, and how organisations can continue to create value in an increasingly complex and fast-moving environment.

Speakers include:

  • Suhaib Kaki, GRC Leader
  • Abdulrahman Alzahrani, Governance and Board Secretariat Expert
  • Atheer Alsofyani, Audit Expert

The discussion will be moderated by Abdulrahman Alhabashi, Vice-Chair of the ISRM KSA Chapter.

The conversation will be held in Arabic.
