On Monday, 28th April, ISRM Executive Director Dr David Rubens and UK Hub President Mike White attended the launch of the UK Resilience Academy (UKRA) at Hawksill, York – the site formerly known as the Emergency Planning College.
The event opened with remarks from Pat McFadden and featured a series of presentations and networking sessions, marking a major step in advancing the UK’s resilience capabilities and support structures.
We are proud to share that the ISRM has been named one of the UKRA’s initial Affiliates. A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the event, setting out plans for future collaboration and mutual support.
This partnership marks an exciting opportunity for the ISRM to contribute to the continued development of national resilience strategies. We look forward to working alongside the UKRA to deliver new programmes, initiatives and resources to support this important mission.
