Exclusive Breakfast Briefing at National Liberal Club with ISRM & Toro Solutions

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the ISRM & Toro Solutions Exclusive Breakfast Briefing, set in the iconic National Liberal Club in the heart of London on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.

It was a fantastic morning, bringing together Chief Risk Officers, Chief Resilience Officers and security leaders for insightful discussion, meaningful exchange and a shared focus on shaping the future of Strategic Risk and Resilience.

We’ll be publishing a paper summarising the discussion, but a few themes stood out:

✅ People remain at the heart of resilience

✅ Organisations must be agile, aware and adaptable

✅ Stress testing – even to the point of discomfort is critical

Thank you to all participants for such constructive conversations, we look forward to continuing the dialogue.

For those who attended, we would greatly value your feedback to help shape future sessions. We have exciting things, so keep an eye out for future invites.

We extend our sincere thanks to our event partners, Toro Solutions and The Defence and Security Circle, for their valued support. Special appreciation also goes to our guest panel speakers for their contribution and commitment in making the event such a success.

  • Funso Kale – Founder of CCC Consultancy Group Ltd
  • Ian Martin – Director of Risk and Intelligence, Bidvest Noonan
  • Gavin Wilson – Director of Physical Security & Risk, Toro Solutions

If you missed this one, we hope to welcome you next time — more events and opportunities are on the way.

As we continue to grow this community, there are a number of ways to get involved. We are always keen to hear from organisations or individuals who would like to:

  • Host future sessions
  • Contribute to discussions or speak at events
  • Explore corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities

These collaborations help us expand the reach and impact of ISRM, while creating meaningful opportunities to engage with a highly relevant and engaged audience.

We are building a community that you can be proud of — where every member has a voice and a role to play in shaping the future of Strategic Risk and Resilience.

As we continue to grow the ISRM UK Hub, we are also looking to strengthen our presence across the UK and build out regional communities. This includes opportunities for organisations to host future events, as well as for individuals to step into roles as regional representatives or community champions — helping to build local networks and drive engagement within the Strategic Risk and Resilience community.

If any of the above is of interest, we would be delighted to start a conversation.
