Dr Zoran Keković Contributes to International Edition of Critical Infrastructure – Risk and Crisis Management in the New Reality

Dr Zoran Keković, Chair of the ISRM South East Europe Chapter and Professor at the Faculty of Security Studies, Belgrade University, has contributed as editor and author of the introductory chapter to the international edition of Critical Infrastructure – Risk and Crisis Management in the New Reality, published by Springer.

In his contribution, Zoran thoughtfully introduces a new way of understanding the geopolitics of critical infrastructure, framing it through societal security, system resilience and the challenges of managing complex, interconnected crises.

Bringing together voices from across regions and disciplines, the book explores how the security architecture of critical infrastructure is changing in today’s geopolitical environment, the systemic and cascading risks shaping contemporary crises, and the ways resilience can be strengthened across technological, energy and societal systems.

Contributions also go to his fellow editorial team members — Dr Savo Kentera, Dr Marina Dabetić and Dr Sanja Grbović — for their expertise, dedication and collaborative effort in bringing this volume to life.
