As the ISRM continues to grow its international presence, we are delighted to announce three new appointments, each bringing experience and fresh perspectives to the Institute. It is also a welcome moment to recognise the many talented women whose leadership already shapes our international community.
From developing our membership and chapter network, to expanding our engagement across Southeast Asia and guiding our strategic direction at Board level, these appointments will help strengthen the Institute and its global reach.
Marija Popadic, Director of Membership
Marija has been appointed Director of Membership, having been with the Institute since September 2024. During that time she has served as Programmes and Partnerships Manager and as Director of Operations, gaining broad experience across membership, professional education, communications, events and chapter engagement. She has worked closely with members, Fellows, Academy students, chapter representatives and partners, and has helped shape much of what the Institute delivers.
In her new role, Marija will lead the continued development of the ISRM’s membership and Chapter network, strengthening member engagement and supporting regional growth.
Elvita Natassa, ASEAN Regional Development Officer
Elvita joins the ISRM as ASEAN Regional Development Officer. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, she brings more than 17 years of experience in strategic communications, policy research, stakeholder engagement and cross-sector partnerships. Her career spans government, international development, NGOs and the private sector, including work with Indonesia’s Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, USAID and Save the Children Indonesia.
With academic qualifications in International Relations and Business Administration, and a deep understanding of Indonesia’s political, regulatory and development landscape, as well as the wider ASEAN context, Elvita brings valuable regional knowledge and partnership experience as we grow across Southeast Asia.
Nada Marjanovich, ISRM Board Advisor
As a trusted partner to C-suite leaders, boards and governments, Nada advises on AI-enabled operational resilience, security, crisis management and travel risk programmes that protect people, assets and operations and tie to business objectives. Her clients include Fortune 500 organisations, global enterprises, government agencies and NGOs, many operating in the world’s most complex, high-risk environments.
For 25+ years she has worked where crisis meets decision-making. She has advised heads of state, led incident response through active crises and built resilience programmes for regulated enterprises. By pairing AI and technology with human intelligence, she strengthens resilience programmes to anticipate disruption, speed decisions and enhance business continuity, emergency response and third-party risk.
Entrepreneurial success informs Nada’s approach. At Everbridge, she shaped the strategy that increased market share of the TRM business and she led thought leadership on operational resilience. As a partner in McIndoe Risk Advisory, she co-developed the Agile Operational Resilience framework, a proprietary methodology used by Fortune 100 organisations to mature capabilities that mitigate risk. Leading Haiti Air Ambulance, the first helicopter emergency response service in Haiti, she reset industry benchmarks. As founder and CEO of Armadillo Media, she built a regional magazine and media company into the 3rd largest in the US.
Nada joins The ISRM as a board advisor to help the organisation mature and enhance its market offering. Combining her domain expertise with her media and go-to-market acumen, she supports The ISRM in developing its mandates.
Please join us in welcoming Marija, Elvita and Nada to their new roles. We look forward to what we can achieve together.
