Second Edition Launch at the Institute for Standardization of Serbia
On April 10, 2025, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia hosted the promotion of the second edition of the book Critical Infrastructure Protection – Systems Approach, authored by the ISRM members Professor Dr Zoran Keković (Chairman of ISRM South East Europe Chapter) and Dr Vladimir Ninković M.ISRM.
The event gathered around 50 attendees, including professionals, academics and representatives from relevant institutions, who discussed the evolving challenges and systematic approaches to protecting critical infrastructure.
Besides providing the theoretical background underpinning the concepts of critical infrastructure protection and resilience, the updated edition offers an expanded perspective on the current institutional, legislative and strategic frameworks in the European Union, as well as in countries where the fields of critical infrastructure protection and resilience are most developed – such as Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Sweden.
The first edition of the book is already being used as course literature in the master’s programs at the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, and the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad.
