Camille McInnis, B.Sc., LL.M., M.ISRM, has taken on the role of Vice Chair of the ISRM Canada Chapter.
Camille brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a career spanning security, emergency management, crisis management, business continuity and organisational resilience. After completing her studies in Security and Police Studies at the University of Montreal, she spent nearly a decade working within federal organisations, supporting senior leadership through crises and large-scale programmes and projects.
She later completed a Master’s degree in Business Law and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Law. Today, Camille is an Associate and Co-Founder of Cygnus Strategies, where she works with organisations to strengthen resilience and prepare for the unexpected.
But there’s more to Camille than her impressive CV.
She brings energy, enthusiasm and a constant stream of ideas to the conversations she is part of. She is curious, thoughtful and, perhaps most importantly, genuinely interested in people and in making things happen. Her contribution to the ISRM Canada community has already been valued by fellow members, and she has earned their respect through her openness, engagement and willingness to get involved.
That makes her appointment feel like a very natural next step.
As Vice Chair, Camille will work alongside the Chapter leadership to continue building a strong, connected Canadian risk community — creating opportunities for members to share ideas, learn from one another and have the conversations that matter.
