Paris Resilience Summit 2026

Resilience is often discussed one risk at a time. But the challenges organisations face rarely arrive that neatly.

This is one of the questions at the heart of the Paris Resilience Summit 2026, where ISRM is joining business leaders, policymakers, academics and practitioners for a day of discussion on issues that are still too often treated separately.

Taking place in Paris on 3rd November 2026, the Summit will explore ten areas of resilience, including digital sovereignty, cyber resilience, supply chains, critical infrastructure, climate investment, human resilience and the growing challenge of insurability.

ISRM Executive Director Dr David Rubens will be speaking during the session “Critical Materials, Water & Energy: The Geopolitical Game Nobody Is Winning”. The discussion will explore how access to energy, water and critical materials is increasingly shaped by geopolitics—and what that means for organisations trying to understand and manage strategic risk.

The programme is designed to move beyond simply identifying threats. Through panels and closed executive roundtables, participants will consider where risks intersect, where current approaches fall short and what practical resilience might look like in the years ahead.
