Introducing the Global Risk Review: A New Monthly Insight from ISRM

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Global Risk Review – a new monthly initiative offering real-time insights into the risks, trends and events shaping our world. Drawing directly from the lived experiences of ISRM members across five continents, it provides a unique perspective built on the discussions held during our weekly Global Crisis Watch calls, which have been running since the start of the global COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020.

The Global Risk Review, included in our Corporate Partnership packages, has been designed for leaders navigating deep uncertainty and complexity. Access to timely, ground-level intelligence is essential in today’s volatile environment. Each edition distils urgent geopolitical, economic, climate and systemic risks, offering a cross-sector view of the developments that matter most. The March 2025 edition — with April’s insights soon to follow — highlights the strategic consequences of US foreign policy shifts, infrastructure and energy vulnerabilities across the West, the effects of climate shocks on regional stability, aid disruption and shifting alliances and early signals of social and economic unrest.

Rather than summarising headlines or academic theories, the Global Risk Review captures real-world signals from those at the forefront of change. Published monthly and grounded in the experiences of those leading risk strategy worldwide, it offers a critical resource for decision-makers who need to anticipate disruption, understand the intersection of politics, economics and security, and remain prepared in an increasingly unpredictable world.
