The UAE Chapter serves as a collaborative platform, bringing together professionals, thought leaders and industry experts to exchange knowledge, insights and best practices in the field of strategic risk management. It will strive to foster a community where ideas are shared, connections are made and innovative solutions are developed to tackle the diverse array of risks that organisations face in this dynamic environment.

By leveraging our collective expertise and experiences, the UAE Chapter offers a wide range of resources, including workshops, seminars, conferences and networking events, designed to enhance your understanding of strategic risk management and its application within the UAE context.

Additionally, we are honored to have Mark Nuttall as the Chair and Adam Green as Vice Chair of the UAE Chapter.

Mark Nuttall:

As someone with over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, governance, security, business, and risk management, Mark has developed a deep understanding of both the public and private sectors. He has held leadership roles in various organisations, including law enforcement, international agencies, and corporations. His unique background allows him to expertly coach and advise C-level executives on risk, AML, security, and business foundation principles, enabling them to minimise negative impacts and capitalise on positive opportunities.

Throughout his career, he has worked across MENA, JAPAC, Europe, and the Caribbean. He has held the power of attorney for a large risk business, and founded businesses which have operated nationally and internationally. This has given him a keen insight into profit and loss management, marketing, governance, and partnerships, and he is experienced at guiding organisations toward successful growth while trimming away any unnecessary obstacles, whilst still advising them on core strategic risk and security matters.

His expertise has led him to advise C-suite executives and international office holders on an international scale. He also serves as a judge for regulatory awards, speaks at global events, and contributes to various publications such as journals, books, and news articles as an author, including 5 for publishing houses.

His status in the region is reflected in his appointment as the Chapter Chair for the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) in the United Arab Emirates, as well as sitting on the advisory committee for the Security Leaders’ Summit 2024, held at Intersec Dubai.

He holds a Master’s Degree in International Security, alongside 3 professional qualifications, and he is a fellow and member of 6 learned institutes which all confer him with 10 esteemed post-nominals. His post-nominal letters are as follows: MA, CAMS, CPP, PMP, FCMI, FICA, F.Inst.PA, F.ISRM, FRSA, MSID.
