We are honored to have Abrar Ashraf as the Chair and Rakesh Nayar and Boris Perišić as Vice-Chairs of the ISRM Qatar Chapter.
Abrar Ashraf, the Chair of the Chapter, is a senior risk and resilience professional with extensive experience across enterprise risk management, compliance, insurance, business continuity, corporate security, HSE and crisis management. With licenses and certifications in these areas, he brings a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of strategic risk management. Currently serving as the Director of Risk Management at Qatari Diar, Abrar plays a crucial role in overseeing risk strategies within the organisation.
Rakesh Nayar, the Vice-Chair of the Chapter, is an accomplished insurance professional with exceptional leadership and management abilities. With extensive expertise in general management across diverse client groups, distribution channels, regions and cultures, he has consistently created winning teams and led businesses in various environments. He is currently serving as the Senior Vice President, Sales & Corporate Segment Leader at Marsh.
Boris Perišić, the Vice-Chair of the Chapter, is a seasoned security professional with over 15 years of experience. With a diverse background in finance, military, loss prevention and security industry, Boris brings a blend of skills and expertise to the ISRM team. He possesses a strong international network of security professionals and has acquired numerous certifications from organisations such as ISRM, ASIS, FEMA, IPA and HUMINTEL. He is currently Cluster Head of Security for the Hilton Hotel Group in Qatar.
