A highly accomplished Board-level global Risk, Compliance & Governance leader and Non Executive Director with a record in driving successful enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks, Compliance and Governance strategy and organisation-wide business change to manage and minimise risks.

Experienced working in multi-Billion dollar global blue-chip firms across Energy (oil, gas, mining, renewables), Utilities, Banking and Financial Services, Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology, combined with the additional experience in building sustainable strategies from concept through to execution and driving growth in small, mid-caps and start-ups in both mature and emerging markets.

Effective communicator with an appreciation for and first-hand knowledge of addressing the challenges in identifying risks, developing and implementing Risk, Governance & Compliance frameworks, underpinned by first-hand experience of working in and operating at Board and senior executive level in dynamic and challenging business environments.

A unique combination of experience working in both mature and emerging markets at varying stages of risk & regulatory maturity and capability, exposure to the full range of emerging risks including cyber, geopolitical, sanctions, anti-bribery, and traditional ABC/AML/KYC, fraud, data / GDPR and prudential risks and the application of regulation across jurisdictions.

Strategically focussed leader with strong cultural awareness and a highly adaptive approach evidenced by leadership roles with accountability for managing teams (10 up to 400 people) including internal and external stakeholders, advisors and vendors.

Programme leadership experience based on 15+ years of delivering complex organisational change and transformation in M&A and business integration, Regulation & Compliance Change, Enterprise Risk Management, and highly complex business change and enterprise technology transformation focusing on Energy & Utilities organisations, delivering advanced capabilities to identify, understand and report risk & compliance, reduce cost of compliance, improve transparency and regulatory alignment, streamline decision-making, and improved P&L.
