Eva is the co-founder and Director of Operations for Ceravoid (Pty) Ltd, a commercial intelligence firm based in Cape Town, South Africa. Amongst others, the company provides due diligence enquiries, background screenings, country risk assessments, market entry analysis as well as commercial and fraud investigations. With a European background but having lived and worked on the African continent for several years, Eva is well-positioned to build a bridge for businesses wanting to operate in Africa. Additionally, Eva is a partner in Hypexis, a platform specialising in geopolitical and economic analyses for frontier and emerging markets. One of Hypexis’ key focus areas is ESG compliance and how the jurisdictions covered can provide great economic opportunities, despite their (perceived) risk profile.
Drawing on her own practical experience through project work in many African countries, Eva is enabling businesses to gain a better understanding of the potential risks and opportunities when operating in Africa. She is both a Certified Protection Professionals as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner.
