We are excited to announce the launch of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management Student Network.
Security, and within this strategic risk and crisis management, is one of the fastest growing sectors in the global economy and there is a growing need for well-educated and qualified talent. While universities worldwide develop ever more programmes to provide the best possible education for the field, the pace of this growth and development can often give students the feeling that they are being left behind. This year has added an additional burden with the ongoing pandemic which has been affecting every single one of us significantly.
The Time to Connect is Now!
The ISRM Student Network has been developed by students and will be run by students. We understand the situation of students and their needs because we have shared and suffered through them ourselves.
This is why we want to provide you with a platform where you can connect, learn, and share. A place where you can build relationships with the global ISRM membership of security and risk management professionals, and their extensive global networks. A space where you can grow both personally and professionally.
Save the Date!
We have timed the launch of the ISRM Student Network to coincide with the Global Roundtable on Thursday 19th November: What Can Academia Contribute to Strategic Risk and Crisis Management?
We have three of the world’s leading risk and crisis management academics on the panel:
Linking the launch of the student network with the ISRM Global Roundtable is a natural progression. The purpose of the Roundtables is to offer a platform where global thought-leaders can have an open dialogue that will have both interest and significance to a global audience.
Access is free, and you will receive a copy of the recording and an e-book of the webinar conversation after the event.
This is also a great place to start an open dialogue amongst students and make our voices heard.
